I learned to oil paint as a child along with the medium of pastels. As an adult, the medium of oil was my choice. Always interested in the subject of people and animals. After being introduced to the Native Americans of the West, I was fascinated with their culture and traditions.
Although I have experimented with different mediums, oil paint is my favorite.
Linen is my top-choice surface, followed by smooth panel. Both allow for smoother blending of paint.
Creating colors in Western art, the Native Americans in their native land. I also love the brilliance of the bright colors in the Navajo clothing. The characters and landscape with canyons are captivating.
Here is some of my past work!
